Can I wear my own GoPro camera on my tandem skydive?
No. For the safety of our customers and instructors, we do not allow students to wear cameras. These camera's can become a "snag" point for parachute lines which can result in many different malfunctions causing serious injury or even death.
For safety reasons, it is recommended by the United States Parachute Association (www.USPA.org) that any skydiver wearing any camera have a minimum of 200 skydives and receive proper training.
It is the policy of Vacationland Skydiving that any skydiver at our facility jumping with a camera have a minimum of 200 jumps and/or be signed off by our S&TA.
